What is Thermoplastic?

Thermoplastic is a pavement marking material that has been used in the U.S. since 1958 with continuing good results. It is a 100% solid, environmentally and user safe compound containing binder, pigments, fillers and glass spheres which liquefies when heat is applied. The high resistance to heat, harsh weather, oil and grease, etc. make thermoplastic an excellent choice for high traffic areas and/or challenging climates. The superior durability and reflectivity make thermoplastic an effective, cost-efficient safety and traffic control solution.
